Farm to Fork

This holiday season for 12 days only Iron Spring’s Pub and Brewery is proud to present our Farm to Fork cattle pack tasting of local grass pastured beef. From nose to tail; yes literally.

Starting Friday December 12, we will be featuring a different preparation of locally raised organic beef provided by Sun Fed Farms. Each night, from December 12 through December 24 you will be able to enjoy an amalgam of different dishes all originating from the same animal.

While we wait for our Porterhouse Steaks and Prime Rib to dry age, we will be able to enjoy a few of the following delights; Porter braised short ribs, Pot Roast “Confit”, Mince meat of Sirloin, Hand ground Range burger with locally foraged mushrooms and bone marrow, Mu Shu Style beef, English seared liver & onions, Oxtail & Beef tongue Bolognese, Churasco Hind Quarter Mixed Grill, House Smoked brisket pastrami, and others to follow.»

Anyone that comes down on 10/31 at 5:00 pm to join Mike in shaving off all facial hair to kick off Movember and start growing their stylish stache will get a meal on the house that day (certain restrictions apply).»


Movember and Chocolate Beer Month

Chocolate Beer MonthEvery November we have Chocolate Beer Month.  This year we are taking it to a whole new level, with at least 6 different chocolate beers pouring all month long.  We are also we participating in Movember! The Movember Foundation challenges men to grow mustaches during Movember (formerly known as November) , to spark conversation and raise vital funds for its men’s health programs. Come down on Friday October 31st to join Mike in shaving your face clean to start growing your Movember mustache and compete for great prizes.»

10 Years, 1,000 Beers

Come on down to the Pub on Saturday, October 18th at 8:30 for a special evening of Music and Celebration!

We’ll be celebrating 10 wonderful years and 1,000 marvelous beers with special guests Mark Karan’s Buds! Mark will be joined by Danny Eisenburg on B3 (Mother Hips, Ryan Adams), Robin Sylvester on bass (Ratdog), and John Hanes on drums.

Tickets are available at the Pub, and proceeds benefit the Fairfax Open Space Committee. Hope to see y’all here!
