Come Get Your Crowler!

We are now filling 32 oz. crowlers filled with any Iron Springs beer at the pub!  What’s a crowler?  It’s a Thirst Repair Kit – a 32 oz. can filled on the spot with the beer of your choice.  Great for hiking, biking, or throwing in your car for a Marin spring adventure.

Open for Lunch and Dinner 7 Days a Week

We are now open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner!   We’ll be pairing this with all day happy hour and fish and chips on Mondays.»

July 11th – Sleepy Hollow Swim Team

PrintThe Sleepy Hollow Swim Team was established in 1971 and competes in the Marin Swim League.  With nearly 200 participating families (primarily from San Anselmo and Fairfax), 300+ swimmers ranging from 5 to 18 years old and 23 consecutive MSL Championship title wins (and counting), they have built an incredible community…in and out of the pool.  Head Coach Mark Anderson emphasizes and instills Fun, Friendship and Sportsmanship.»

Victors of the YES foundation battle of the bands 2016, Mayfly has been rocking Fairfax for over a year now.  With their break out debut, they swept the competition to the cheers of the idolizing and tipsy Ross Valley School District parents dancing in harmony.  Kelly Atkins, Rebecca Chourre, Liz Pisco, Henry Kyburg, Matt Palmer, Tommy Casey.

Fairfax Festival Weekend is Upon Us!

Fairfax Festival weekend is one of the great events our funky little town puts on for local residents and visitors alike.  You’ll find the Iron Springs Ambrewlance in the parade Saturday morning at 10am, and if you’re lucky, you’ll be on the receiving end of our t-shirt cannon (manned by Aaron Altman, age 8, and Michael Altman, of an older age).  Then all weekend long get your favorite Iron Springs brew at the Ross Valley Fire Department booth by Bolinas Park….»

LEAPLEAP (the Lagunitas School District Foundation) is the all-volunteer, nonprofit foundation that develops and sustains resources to benefit all children in the Lagunitas School District.Their small K-8 district focuses on educating the whole child in three unique programs, the elementary Open Classroom and Montessori programs, and the
6th-8th grade Middle School. With a focus on immersive projects, experiential learning, and collaboration, they provide opportunities for their students to explore and express many facets of the curriculum.»

Rowan Brothers featuring Lorin and Chris Rowan

Known for their intimate Acoustic roots/Americana-modern day Everly Brothers meets the Beatles, Crosby,Stills,Nash & Young, with a splash of Bluegrass, signed by Clive Davis/Columbia Records 1971 and David Geffen 1974 for they’re tight harmonies and haunting melodies underscored by crisp guitar and mandolin. Lorin’s song ‘Soldier of the Cross is the title track of country artist Ricky Skaggs’ Grammy winning CD. They’ve also recorded and toured over the years as a The Rowans with older brother Peter.»

Lorin Rowan, Doug Harman, & Barry Sless return to Iron Springs!  The music of ‘Rattlebox’ features Lorin Rowan’s finger pickin’ acoustic roots/Americana in folk/rock and world music, complementing his clear tenor vocal, backed by fellow musicians; Barry Sless, steel guitar extraordinaire, from the David Nelson Band,Phil Lesh & Friends and Moonalice; and cellist virtuoso, Doug Harman (Norton Buffalo, Alex DeGrassi,Susan Cianni) . The combination of these musicians and their unique instrumentation, together create a fresh, exciting sound with powerful melodies and intriguing lyrics, as well as acoustic ‘jam band’ interludes
