She counts none other than Sean Penn as a fan, who used one of her songs in his 2007 film “Into the Wild”. A powerful solo performer in her own right she now tours with the support of an all-star band featuring Taylor Cutcomb (This Old Earthquake) on upright bass and Erik Smyth (Mo’fessionals/ELP) on guitar and harmonies.»

Todos Santos

Todos Santos is Wendy Fitz, Gary Bauman, and Jack Pribble; an acoustic trio created in the small village in Baja California that inspired the name. The band’s sound has been described as “Cantina Americana”, a harmony driven mixture of soaring vocals, fiery guitars, and accordion. The music is roots to the core and includes not only originals but also many unique covers.

10th annual Jerry Garcia Birthday Tribute Show featuring The Grateful Bluegrass Boys

Grateful Bluegrass Boys began when Aaron Redner (Hot Buttered Rum) and David Thom (Vintage Grass), both Sonoma residents, decided to mesh their love for traditional Bluegrass music with the songs of the Grateful Dead. Russel Simon (Rusty Stringfield) also joined the mix on bass and the trio played a few private events before deciding to play in Bay Area clubs and festivals. Ben Jacobs (Poor Man’s Whiskey) plays accordion and a rotating cast of musicians fill out the band.»

The Known Unknowns

The Known Unknown is an improvisational quartet (with frequent appearances by guest improvisers) formed in 2014 by guitarists Phil Savell and David Gans with the goal of making fresh, unstructured music every time they perform. “We jammed at a couple of holiday parties in December 2013,” says Gans, “and we clicked with sufficient intensity that we decided it would be fun to put a band together.” Zach Partain joined on bass for the first couple of gigs, and drummer Neil Hampton signed on shortly thereafter.»
